About Paden Hodges - Founder of Terran Studios
Welcome to Terran Studios!
I'm Paden Hodges, the founder of Terran Studios. Growing up, I was a die-hard Star Wars fan. The franchise ignited my imagination and creativity, inspiring me to write my own stories. Although I didn't always like the words I put on the page, I kept an active imagination, filling journals with ideas as I grew older and more educated. Video games also played a significant role in this development, as I played anything I could get my hands on.
The turning point for me came when Disney released a new series of Star Wars movies. While I will always be a Star Wars fan, the new movies failed to capture the essence of the original franchise for me. It was then that I realized I could do better. I knew I wasn't the only fan who felt this way, but I believed I had a unique set of skills and creativity to develop compelling, narrative-driven worlds and stories that could draw in an audience and keep them invested.
As I grew older, I found myself becoming more emotional, particularly when it came to my characters and stories. Writing often gives me chills, and I get emotional when I have to kill off a character. My hope is that my audience will find a story and a narrative they can connect to on a deeper level. There have been many great stories told through movies over the years, but I aspire to create a series of movies that far surpass the competition. I dream of being mentioned alongside authors like Tolkien, Suzanne Collins, Christopher Paolini, Orson Scott Card, and J.K. Rowling, who have all inspired me.
My journey hasn't been easy. Friends and family predicted I would be a millionaire straight out of high school, but life had other plans. At 35, I can attest to the challenges of living a life for others. The sacrifices and hardships I've faced have shaped my spirit in ways that words can hardly describe. As an author, I can interpret and recreate feelings and emotions, but fully immersing oneself in the world's cruelty, pain, and sorrow is a different challenge.
My mission now is to tell stories of heroes overcoming struggles and winning the day, often by the skin of their teeth. The message is that as long as you are standing and breathing, there is hope for a better future. You have a choice to seek it out or let the world consume you. By not striving towards your dreams, goals, and ambitions, you allow the world to clip your wings and trap your spirit.
I aim to capture the hearts and minds of people, inspiring them to live full, compelling lives filled with dreams and aspirations. The world may distract and try to take your freedom away, but as a gamer, I believe you can turn life into a game and overcome these challenges. I hope that even after I'm gone, my stories and Terran Studios will continue to fight for the hearts and minds of the masses, inspiring them to soar above and not let their spirits be trapped.
